Decorating

Decorating - much anticipated, puts you in the spirit of the holiday - but such a big, sometimes overwhelming, task. I always want my house to be perfectly clean before I start the decorating process. Alas ... I am too busy with children, family, piano, photography and playing with my kids that I have no time for such work. This evening, the front room and bathroom got cleaned up enough (really good, actually) for the ghoulish touches here and there. It really excited the kids. I even washed my front glass door to put decals on it, just to have it smudged with cute little finger prints. I will miss this one day all too soon.
