Sugar Cookie Fun

Do you want the BEST sugar cookie recipe? My mom got this 30 years ago from a lady she worked with at the church office building. She and my aunt have been using it for years. It is the best we have ever tasted. Try it out!

Never Fail Sugar Cookies

2 cups sugar
2 cups softened butter
6 eggs
4 tsp vanilla
6 tsp baking powder
7 cups flour

Cream together butter & sugar. Add eggs & vanilla. mix. Add baking powder and flour. Mix. Take out of bowl and wrap in plastic wrap. Cool in fridge until stiff, about 2 hours. Roll out a thick amount of dough, around 1/2 inch thick (important), and cut with cookie cutters.

Bake 350 for 8-10 minutes. Do not let bottom or sides get brown. Makes 3-4 dozen moist cookies.
